The McNeil Foundation
Non- Profit Organization
Our Mission
The McNeil Foundation is a non-profit organization located in Harrisburg, PA. Our mission is to provide comprehensive assistance to homeless fathers/men with children by offering housing, resources, and vouchers for immediate shelter, food, transportation, education, and employment. We aim to empower families to achieve self-sufficiency.
The organization was created by Larry and Lori McNeil in honor of their father, Lawrence Paul McNeil, who passed away in 2022. Larry and Lori, who are also survivors of homelessness, have a personal understanding of the challenges faced by the people they serve.
They provide advocacy, help, supervision, and provisions for the unfortunate, drawing from their own experiences to guide, counsel, and support those in need. The McNeil Foundation is driven by empathy and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
